Mr. Moon A

A while ago (back in 2011), I was looking back at some projects that I had done as a kid at art summer camps. I came across a cute wooden frame that I had painted with a really cute night sky design, and I liked it so much that I decided that I would re-explore the design and use it as the theme for a little painting. It was so much fun! After adding some extra touches like the pieces of glass for a border and all the “twinkle” text, it turned out to be the perfect little canvas decoration for a nursery. Recently, I found it hidden back behind so much in my closet, so I gave it as a little baby gift.

It’s kind of fun, though, to go back and re-explore old ideas. I’ll have to go back and try that with some other projects. It’s like reading an old favorite book and realizing so much more and forming new opinions (like going back and watching Disney movies as an adult and laughing at new humor that is a little more mature, lol)!
