As a Girl Scout for 11 years, it has always been a goal of mine to earn the Gold Award, which is the highest award in Girl Scouting and the equivalent to the Boy Scout Eagle Award. Well, you might have noticed that I haven’t posted much on my blog this summer, and that is because all summer, I have been working on the project that goes toward earning that award.
Throughout July, I have interviewed so many interesting seniors from various generations in my community about their accomplishments, stories, experiences, and their lives in general. In all, I have interviewed 24 people, and right now, I am working on typing up all of the transcripts to go on my Life Legacies blog. Overall, the goal of my project is to spread a greater understanding for other generations and other times, to record bits of history, and to inspire other people through my blog: http://lifelegacyproject.wordpress.com/.
It has been an amazing journey for me to meet so many inspiring people, and I am excited that their amazing stories can now be shared with the blogging community and the world.
