Completed Date: 8/10/12

Medium: pen and ink

Description: I completed this project as part of my summer work for AP Art. This was one of the projects that I had the most fun with (just because it was pretty loose and carefree), but after seeing everyone else’s pieces and reevaluating my own, I really wish that I had pushed the abstraction of the kiwis and peach more. Abstract art is something that I definitely would like to work on in the future because in a way, it can be so much harder than drawing something realistically. The artist truly has to use his/her creativity and to effectively transfer his/her ideas onto paper. Seeing great abstract pieces really gets me excited because now I realize how much imagination and talent that type of art takes!
