Audrey Hepburn Portrait

August 18, 2012 by mamie

Completed Date: 3/27/11

Medium: ebony pencil

Description: This was my first realistic portrait to complete, and I was definitely scared of failing when I started it. By learning how to grid and how to focus on each part and the values within each part, though, I discovered that I could actually draw an image of one of my favorite actresses! I think I could definitely go back and add to the face, but I’m proudest of the sunglasses and the gloves.
