Completed Date: 5/22/11

Medium: watercolors, colored pencils

Description: For this piece, I studied the mechanics and techniques of 2 point perspective and then used a bit of creativity to design my own little town scene. I researched aspects of architecture and a few different designs from photographs on the internet and applied some of them to my composition. After putting down washes of watercolors, I went back and added in some colored pencil for a little more value and texture. If I did this project again, I think I would take it one step further and make it more realistic and a little less “cutesy.” 🙂
