Paper Bag Value Drawing

August 11, 2012 by mamie

Completed Date: 2/4/11

Medium: graphite

Description: This sketch was done from real life and was meant to teach us about values and form in relation to folds and creases of paper. We tried to use the full value scale, and to prepare, we crumpled up pieces of paper to sketch. Today, I was sketching my sewing machine as part of my summer work, and I realized how far I’ve come. It’s a very good feeling!
