About
17Artistic Imaginings is my website that I’ve created to organize my various crafty projects, pieces of art I’ve made, thoughts I have about different topics, and dreams for the future.
To live the best life possible and to accomplish everything that you’ve aspired to accomplish within your lifetime I truly believe you have to outline your visions before you begin to see them through. Journaling is a great way that I document my aspirations, and without lists, I don’t think I could get anything done. Even if I come back to one of the hundreds of lists I’ve made and scratch out something that I don’t think would be worthwhile anymore, I haven’t lost out on anything because if the task was really as important as I thought it was the first time I put it on the list, it will definitely pop into my head again later. Really, the way to carry out something to the best of your ability is to want to do whatever that something is. It sounds cheesy, but your attitude really plays into how well you do something. That’s why whenever I have a lot to do, like loads of homework during the school week, I always try to do the assignments I like most whenever I like them the most and go with my feelings. Of course, when there’s an assignment that I don’t like at all, I try to think of it in the best way possible and hope for the best, and it usually turns out pretty good in the end. It’s really amazing how much control we have over ourselves that we don’t even realize!
Even though I haven’t lived much of life, I feel like getting the most out of it depends on how you feel about everything you’ve done. That’s why you should focus on the activities, problems, places, and people that you’re the most passionate about. My website is just about that… passion!
Here are the various sections that I plan to eventually enhance my site with:
- Journals with Flair
- Gardening
- Ballet
- Life List
- Book and Movie Reviews
- Thoughts
- Recipes
- My Artwork
- …and more!

Wow! That is so nice of you. Thank you so much!!!
It’s all about priorities, isn’t it! Not just to do with our own aspirations, but also how much time we spend on our relationships and our contributions/responsibilities as citizens. A tricky balance at times! I think our society is finally learning that there’s more to life than just making money, too … =D
Definitely! It can be confusing, too, to try and decide about careers, especially with the economy, but I do get tired about people talking about money all the time. It never makes anyone really happy…
Hi Mamie! Thanks for leaving a lovely comment on my blog, I’m glad you enjoyed visiting.
Being a beautiful spirit that you are, I’d like to dedicate this quote to you:
